Street Food

I once knew a woman who’d eat
Whatever she found on the street.
She’d eat apple cores
She’d picked up off floors
And one day, she nibbled my feet!

  1. Growing up, my dad knew a woman who only ate what she found at the dump, a practice she picked up during the Great Depression. She said that people wasted too much food. It did NOT get us to eat our vegetables…
