Beans

There once was a man from Berlin
Who only ate beans from a tin.
He farted like mad
And said, “They smell bad
But better them out than within!”

      1. I usually recite poems I have written, usually rhyming ones. Some of them have been on my blog and some are by a poet called Reginald Arkell who wrote them in 1934.
        Good gardeners all will deprecate
The man who shuts his garden gate.
My garden gate is open wide,
        And anyone can walk inside-
Except, of course, the ass who says:
“My lupins have been out for days.”
