I’ve heard there’s a new fashion in the world of chefs and cooks.
It’s meant to change the flavour of our food and how it looks.
It’s very complicated but I’ll try to summarize:
If you feed tasty things to food, your tongue will be surprised.
If you feed chickens spinach, then their eggs’ yolks will be gold.
If you feed special grass to cows, their steaks will taste quite bold.
And when learned these factoids, well. I realized what it meant:
It was high time for me to do a food experiment!
I gathered up some spices, many herbs, a little wine.
For each of these had flavors that would make my food taste fine.
I got each new component, and I lined them up in place,
I couldn’t wait to see how feeding food would change the taste.
It turns out mozzarella has not got much appetite.
I offered herbs to tacos but they never took a bite.
And not a single apple had a sip of beer or wine.
It seems we each have many skills but this just isn’t mine!
