Finish This Poem – “Pie”

My brother and sister and I
We’ve always enjoyed Momma’s pie.
That is, ‘til she lied
About what is inside –
It turns out it’s …

(Can you finish this poem?)

  1. It turns out it is
    Made of scraps
    From vegetables and fruits
Cause momma never likes to waste
She says the banana skin is healthy
    Rather than the fruit
We all thought momma was wrong
Until one day we read in science
    Scraps from veggies and fruits
    Can be recycled for use.
