Finish This Poem – “Soda Pop”

I have a small addiction
To fizzy soda pop.
I simply love to drink it
I fear I cannot stop.
I love the little bubbles
The flavor, oh so sweet
There’s something weird I do with it:

(Can you finish this poem?)

  1. I love the little bubbles
    The flavor, oh so sweet
There’s something weird I do with it:
    With my friend Marguerite.
    She’s fond of lemon soda
    And I love orangeade
So when we’re both half empty
We mix and call it ‘marmalade’.

    You just will not believe
    Do not tell a soul
    Just keep it to yourself
What I do with soda pop
Is drink it with a straw
That’s not so weird you will say
    It’s the usual way ,
    To that I will say

Ah but do you drink it through your nose !?
