Wool

There once was a sheep
Who was not very bright.
Even just butterflies
Gave him a fright.
He lived on a farm
With some cows and a duck;
He spent time with chickens
So sometimes
He’d cluck.

He’d been quite a bonehead
E’er since he was born.
And then, one bright morning
He had to be shorn.
They took all his wool
And they knitted a vest.
He put it right on and said
“Wool is the BEST!”

    1. Hmm. I wonder if they ever get all existential and decide they are only going to wear alpaca wool or possum wool because their natural sheep wool doesn’t resonate with their true selves.

      …for some reason I’m now imagining a whole cafe full of hipster sheep. 😂🐑
