The Greedy Rat

There once was a gluttonous rat
Who got quite uncommonly fat.
The house where he hid
Had two adults; two kids;
They figured they’d purchase a cat.

A feline companion was bought
(They chose a quite rat-hungry sort)
She soon disappeared
And just as they feared—
The cat—not the rat—had been caught!
